Making Christ known in North Wales

Celebrating 18 years of giving justice to the poor and
sharing the Good News of peace with God.

Situated on a busy shopping street in the heart of Llandudno, Kingdom Krafts & Beacon Books is a venture between two local churches in Llandudno; ourselves and Gloddaeth church.

Kingdom Krafts is stocked with unusual gifts, good quality food, confectionery and cards, some of which have been made locally. Beacon Books has an extensive range of Bibles, Christian books, magazines, and an extensive second-hand department on the first floor where many amazing bargains can be found.

The shop is run by volunteers on a ‘not-for-profit’ basis, and all proceeds go back to our supported charities. There is also a try-before-you-buy coffee bar – highly recommended!

We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 am until 5:00 pm.

“Beacon Books and its sister charity Kingdom Krafts Fair Trade Centre have been operating since 2002. We started eighteen years ago from a desire to help people mired in poverty to regain their dignity, to earn a living and to begin to plan for the future where it had seemed only bleak and hopeless before.”

“The need for Christian literature and materials to be readily available was also one of our passions, and we have seen amazing answers to prayer over the years as the business has developed into what it is today.”

“Two local churches in Llandudno, Emmanuel and Gloddaeth United, partner in facilitating the shop function and growth. There are two part-time managers and 6 or so volunteers, making a formidable team.”
